Insights and Reflections about the term "Cold Front"

cold front is defined as the leading edge of a cooler mass of air, replacing (at ground level) a warmer mass of air, which lies within a fairly sharp surface trough of low pressure. It forms in the wake of an extratropical cyclone, at the leading edge of its cold air advection pattern, which is also known as the cyclone's dry conveyor belt circulation. It is a must to know its hazards and effects in order to be properly prepared during calamities brought by and enhanced by this kind of phenomenon. We can also suffice our uncertainties and doubts with the knowledge of its factors and their requirements to trigger the said effect, which may or may not drastically affect our neighborhood and alike. Being extremely cautious about these phenomenon does not enforces any unjust instances but enhances our knowledge and survival skills in order to stay safe unto the road of our certain future meld by ourselves.

LCD entry #35: One very harsh week

This last school week, we held different school activities of different varieties. we also made class performances for a specific school subject. Even though the week seem to be harsh, I never forget to practice eco friendly activities such as cleaning or sweeping the floor, watering the plants regularly inorder for then to grow and mature quick, picking up littered garbages whenevr they are scattered and is/are within my sight, turning off lights, fans and other electronic appliances whenever they are on standby and/or not in use in order to save valuable electrical energy.
I sure hope I helped clean Mother Nature this last tiring and harsh week.

LCD entry #34: A clean, green week

This last school week, we held different activities about each of our subjects respectively. It was tiring yet fun. our teachers also announced the score of our periodical tests. It wasnt that bad, I think... Or maybe, it is... But anyways, as for myecofriendly acts, I did not forgot to water the plants, sweep the floor, pick up littered garbages, turn off lights and fans when not in use, help plant trees and/or small plants, avoid the use of CFC products such as sprays in order to help minimize the destruction of our wading atmosphere. I also limit the use of my computer in order to further save electricity.
I sure hope that I helped clean Mother Nature this last tiring week as efficient as I can.

01/20/13 Lcd entry no. 33: A mind-exhausting week

This last school week, we took our quarterly periodical exams. Our minds was really put into test during the whole examination period. We get to use our past learnings in order to answer the test well. This last school week also, our teachers made us do some pretty hard school tasks, but barely, we accomplished what was asked to do.
This last week, some eco friendly acts that Ive done are watering the plants, sweeping the floor, conserving energy by turning off all electrical appliances when not in use, using a glass whenever I brush my teeth in order to prevent water spillage, picking up littered trash everywhere, turning off fans and aircons for the wind was cool enough to refresh our body and even our minds.
I sure hope that I helped clean Mother Nature this last tiring week.

01/13/13 Lcd entry no. 32: Clean, normal week

This last school week, we resumed our school classes starting with the same schedule as it was like any other school days we attended last year. But the start of the school classes werent much of a good one for me. Nevertheless, atleast I get to learn stuffs again, thats good.. Isnt it? Anyways, for my eco friendly activities, I helped clean my environment by picking up littered trash scattered anywhere, everywhere. I also helped recycle trashes by putting them in a recycling sack. I also seperated bio from non bio garbages to help sort out the trash more efficiently.
I turned off the lights and fans as well as other electronic appliances that are not in use to conserve energy. I also watered the plants and I always use a glass whenever I brush my teeth in order to prevent unnecessary water usage.
I sure hope that I helped clean Mother Nature this last school week.

01/08/13 Low-Carbon Diet [LCD] Journal Entry #31: "The New Year Holiday -- end of Christmas Vacation"

This last week we held the new year welcoming celebration with our whole family. we played and celebrated with fireworks, horns and laughter, of course. we also had several dishes to fill our empty stomachs; and lots of rounded fruits hoping for a prosperous new year. We attended mass ob the very first day of the year, played games and contests, played pranks again with my cousins, flew kites, played card games and online computer games. It was fun, similar to our recent christmas celebration. This week also, we bode farewell to our cousins for they will fly to Australia; well then, until 2-3 years again I guess.
I also practiced ecofriendly activities such as watering the plants regularly, picking up littered garbages, dusting the floor, using a glass whenever I brush my teeth and turning off lights and fans when not in use.
This week surely has been a fun yet memorable week for us.

12/22/12 - 01/02/13 Low Carbon Diet (LCD) Journal Entries nos. 29-30. Christmas Vacation and the New Year Holiday

This last week, our teachers announced that the 19th of December 2012 would mark the start of our Christmas and New Year Holiday Vacation, which lifted my mood for the rest of the day. but when I heard that we will do a particular schoolwork during our annual holiday break, my hearing senses went dull. but anyways, it can't be bad as it can be... Than not having any break, right?
This week, I helped clean and conserve energy for my environment by:
-watering plants, washing or cleaning dirty areas in our house, picking up littered garbages, turning off appliances when not in use, using a glass whenever brush my teeth.
pardon me if I've cut it short, I'm excited and pumped out to spend my Holiday Vacation.Well then, Happy Holidays!

                                                                        II.
This last Christmas was a blast! This last week surely is the most memorable and fun one to cherish in my entire life. My cousins  visited us here in the Philippines , specifically here in San Miguel, Bulacan, to celebrate Christmas and The New year occasions. every day was surprisingly fun and at the same time, relaxing for we reminisced our childhood pranks and ganes by reanimating and recalling them today. It was happy. The mood is surely a jolly one! We held games, singing contests, dancing competitions, exchange gifts, joking times (even if the jokes were too lame we still laugh about it) and of course, noche buena fiests. It was a joyful event, much much more to be precise.
I still [practiced eco-friendly acts such as not littering anywhere, and turning off appliances when not in use. Surely, this week was a happy and relaxing one.
